Biographical Note:
Alice Hudson was born on October 30, 1922, in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of Harry Francis Hudson (1877-1963) and Alice (Lockwood) Hudson (1882-1976).
Her childhood was spent in Orchard Park, New York, with her older sister, Sarah (aka Sally, 1916-1988), where she was known affectionately as "Kiko." She attended Antioch College in Ohio, graduated from the Albright Art School in Buffalo, New York, and received a bachelor of science degree in art education from Buffalo College for Teachers.
